Wayne LeBelle

Wayne LeBelle is the well-known regional historian and author from Field.  Wayne worked as a newspaper reporter for years and had a long career with the MNR until his recent retirement   He is one of many people working on francophone history.  He has written nine books, four of which are bilingual.  His latest local history book titled- Field, Ontario 1850-2009 contains numerous photos and a wealth of well researched information about the community.
